Character Design: Blastro Man

This is a chararcter I have design and will be modeling, texturing, rigging, etc. in Maya.I would like to also thank my instructor, Greg Brown, for his large support and help in the design aspects of the character. The concept of him is that he is a senior citizen named Horace Copperpot who was once the greatest superhero of North America, Blastro Man. After retiring, he watched as times changed and the world he knew and loved had vanished, replaced with new cultures, technolodgy, and music he doesn't understand. Nostalgic for his own days and unable to let go of his fond memories, Horace donned his costume and once again became Blastro Man. He is out to show the world that his days were better in every way. He has super-human strength, which he uses to rip off covers to jars of his favourite preserves. He can fly, but on every seems to go at 15km/hr and only 3 feet off the ground. He also as laser vision, which he uses to warm his afternoon tea. Watch out world, here comes Blastro Man!!!
